I imagine if the matrix has the power to amp the k701's to reasonable levels I doubt it will have any troubles with anything else. I may be wrong but thats according to other reviews here on head-fi!!

So the only real way to power these cans is with a decent SS amp unless I want to break the bank...Thanks for the help!

Hi there,   I have recently purchased a pair of K701's and thought I had my mind fixed on an amp decision, but I was wrong! I recently started viewing a thread where people posted pictures on photos of tube amps glowing at night and thought how awesome it would be to have one. Not only that...
