Just received a pair of from head-director as advised and they were also fake. Absolutely no bass. No change in sound whatsoever when you move sub 60hz from nothing to maximum on an EQ.   I really believe these aren't being made any more and the only ones in circulation are fakes.

So my DIY PK3 finally conked out after over 3 years. I tries buying a replacement vanilla PK3 from Amazon recently but got stung with a low quality fake. Can anyone recommend a reputable seller?

I've been using Yuin PK3 headphones for years now. Very happy with the sound.   On that note, would anybody be able to recommend a gaming headset that has the same or similar sound quality?

I'd say both, but I wonder if the improved sound is more due to using the PK2 earbud housing rather than the cabling.

They are a bit stiff and can knock the earbud out of your ear if not careful. I don't really find it an issue when listening to music on the train, nor when walking with the cable hidden under my shirt.
