    Stax SR-X9000

Looking forward your review and internal pictures. I have been using the Viva STX for half a year now, it has been a very good match for my X9000. It has a mesmerizing sound, very enjoyable to listen to. I upgraded the 300b to takatsuki TA-300b, which outperform the original tube in every...

Hi, does anyone have DiDiT ASIO drivers for windows? I couldn't find the drivers on the DiDiT website. Thanks alot.

    Stax SR-X9000

That aside, in Japan, the listed price is 90% of its msrp.

    Stax SR-X9000

The 009 figure can't be right. Mine serial number is 3xxx, which means it is about 2000th 009 ever made (the hiend stax headphones start serial number at 1000). And it was purchased years ago. I've heard someone has a number 4xxx 009. 009 was released in 2011 and discontinued in 2020. So there...

    Stax SR-X9000

Placed mine on 10/2 and got it on 10/24. I heard someone placed his order in November and already received. I suppose it is just more abundant in some regions than other.

    Stax SR-X9000

Stax burn-in their headphones in the factory. That aside, after I received the X9k, I played the PAD system enhancer CD for 4 times, and the bass just opened up. So yeah, it needs burning in.

    Stax SR-X9000

well, it is a zero sum game. With limited production capacity of STAX, and a larger than expected demand, it is doomed to be long waiting times for many. If the Japanese or Chinese market get more X9Ks, than the US market would get less X9Ks, thus customers in US have to wait for longer. I...

    Stax SR-X9000

I'm from China, I got mine shipped in 10/22, it was the first batch in China. To my knowledge the second batch was shipped around 11/11 with very limited number (about 3 pieces from where I bought), and so far I haven't seen anyone receiving the third batch. The SR-X9000 is available in Japan...

    Anedio D2 DAC release

I would like to say that I'm satisfied with Anedio D2, and the USB port of D2 is more impressive than I expected. But now I kinda get sick of soundtracks and want to try CDs. Do you have any recommendations of transporters?

    Grado SR225i vs RS1i for Rock/Metal/Country music

I like Grado, and I have ps500 and rs1.  But I'd say that Grado sound is not for everyone, especially when it comes to rock, some audiophiles just can't stand it.  So you'd better try it before purchase. btw, although Rs1i is better than sr225, I think sr225 is good enough.

Graham Slee Novo, grado gr10 and dt770 pro(80)

Well, I haven't heard gr10. I use Graham Slee Bitzie to drive my Grado RS1 and PS500, both sound good. But I'm not sure with gr10. Novo is a good amp btw, it was my first amp!

    Review: Violectric HPA V200 amp

I believe this combo would be good. V200 is very suitable for Grado.

    Anedio D2 DAC release

No, onboard amp is not good enough, but you can make do with it to drive some amp-friendly headphones.
