Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Yes, it sure is and it works great. Please refer to my posts a couple of pages back. It's well worth it in my opinion. So far, I haven't found any of my music to not work on it and I have everything from FLAC in both 16/44 and 24/96, AAC and MP3. It works great! Dave- Rocker66

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
A 240GB ipod?! Where? Am I missing something? I don't keep up with ALL of the keynotes, but something this major I would know about it. At least if it were from Apple. Third party maybe? Might have to do some research. I have to agree on the Rockbox being awesome. I can't believe I...- Rocker66

The Fiio X3 Thread.
If this is being added to the new firmware update, it is worth the wait. I still love my X3 as is and this will only make it better. Thank you. Dave- Rocker66

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Here is where you should start for the steps to changing the V/Pid. One other thing I should note is I did all of this in Linux (Ubuntu) as I have my Mac setup with it in dual-boot configuration. That's a bit of work in itself. But, if you're adventurous and have any interest in Linux, it's the...- Rocker66

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Actually, there is a "fix" for this. I had the same issue. The main reason I wanted to Rockbox my iPod Classic was to get away from iTunes and the inability to automatically sync with my media server. I was disappointed once I Rockboxed it and realized it wouldn't connect as a drive to my...- Rocker66

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Ahhhhh. . .so that's where Amazon got the blemished units they sell at a discount. Love the stories and always eagerly awaiting the next chapter. I am glad you guys didn't give up when the going got tough. Otherwise, I wouldn't have my AG2 that I can't get enough of. Thank you. Dave- Rocker66

NEW - Schiit Asgard 2
I totally agree. I have the pre-outs going to my M-Audio Studiophile 4's. I'm sure it will work equally well feeding a power amp. But, I have yet to try it. Dave- Rocker66

NEW - Schiit Asgard 2
Just thought I would post real quick that I received my Asgard 2 on Saturday. I am highly impressed. I think I ordered it on Tuesday and it shipped on Wednesday. I live in MO and with it coming from CA, I expected it to take almost a week. They shipped it out to be delivered FedEx Home delivery...- Rocker66

K701 thread
I've had my K701's for a few weeks now and loving them more and more. For reference, I have Grado 325is and SR80i. I still love my Grados, but the AKG's are really growing on me. I found out about the bass port mod the other night and that really made a difference. If I could reduce the bass...- Rocker66

NEW - Schiit Asgard 2
I placed mine on order yesterday and eagerly awaiting. I am curious to see how well it pairs with my K701. They aren't the most difficult phones to drive but I'm excited to see how much of a general SQ improvement it makes over my X3 or E17. Either way, it will be a nice addition to my...- Rocker66

The Fiio X3 Thread.
Yes I got the same deal with 64GB card and cables. It is an excellent deal considering the card is $45. The Monoprice cables aren't bad either. I had to upgrade the FW but other than that, have been thoroughly impressed. The navigation could use some improvement. Other that I couldnt be happier...- Rocker66
