Pioneer A-109 headphone jack
As I can see from the pictures, it's designed for a 6,3mm jack, so just buy a converter, and you'll be fine! -
Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
Hmm, it's now working perfectly, no more hiss is present! At first, as you suggested, I insulated the mosfets. Then I somehow managed to connect the power input right and all powered up. As might you know, then I experienced hiss, but when I swapped tubes, it started working like a champ...- Robot

Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
HELP! I've finally built my SSMH, but it isn't working. Nor tubes glow, nor caps emit heat. Does anybody see where the problem might lie? http://i44.tinypic.com/vcw13l.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/2z6w55d.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/r9kaxi.jpg- Robot

Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
I hope this is a right place to post this, but I have some questions about tomb's pcb's: So, this build originally has no panel LED's installed, am I right? And secondly: how are those tube sockets installed? Are they just soldered, or also need some wiring to the board?- Robot

Do you give people money when they ask for it?
I don't know how it's in the USA, but in eastern Europe one is lucky if someone actually asks for money and doesn't take all you have, by force.- Robot

Looking for cans with extended highs/lows.
I already have KSC75s and suprisingly, I sometimes prefer them to my Grados, because they're not so mid oriented and also don't have that treble harshness.- Robot

Looking for cans with extended highs/lows.
Arrgh! you're ruining my thread! I already have Grado SR80s, and they are IMO great, but.. soundstage-less. And that's the biggest drawback. Regarding DT880 I've read that 2005 version has punch added and mids forwarded slightly. Or maybe that's not as much of an improvement to be even mentioned?- Robot

Looking for cans with extended highs/lows.
Allright, I've read something about DT880 and it seems to somewhat suit me, AKG 701s on the other hand I think would be too punchless to me. Thanks for you opinion! Anyone has some other suggestions? I don't mind buying used, oh yess!- Robot

Looking for cans with extended highs/lows.
Oh, that's a great suggestion, I will try it, however I still need to get 'phones first. Forgot to add that cans will be driven by an 80s-90s technics integrated amp.- Robot

Hello, fellow Head-fiers. As you might guess, I have some money to spend and I'd like you to be kind and recomend some headphones that would have these features: Extended highs/bass (both pref.), Big soundstage, Cost no more than ~200$. The music I listen to is space/psy rock, namely -...- Robot
