    Bad stream quality from Win10

Thanks for pointing out my oversight TuneBlade, I should have gone back and looked at your support documents. :)  That seems to have fixed the problem.  Thanks!

    Bad stream quality from Win10

Since I can hear a big difference between the head out from the laptop and streamer I think this is some other issue?  Wouldn't I hear it from both sources?   It's not a small loss in quality, the stream is really unlistenable.

    Bad stream quality from Win10

Someone gave me an Excelvan DLNA music streamer a while back and I'm getting around to getting everything working.  Android and Apple were straight forward and simple enough and for Win 10 on my laptop I downloaded TuneBlade to get the stream working. http://tuneblade.com/ Problem is, iPhone...

    Foobar tagging help

Thanks Roseval, I was unaware of this issue with WAV and that helps quite a bit.   Since I don't need the best in quality or a ton of music on my phone to listen in the car, I think I'll just rip another small compressed library for iTunes and be done.  I'll convert the existing WAV files to...

    Foobar tagging help

I had burned quite a few CD's to WAV , with iTunes, but have recently downloaded Foobar. Apparently, the metadata tag between the two are not compatible. When I open my library in Foobar I get "?" under the album title and I just get a giant list of tracks under a single folder. I tried to...

    SOHA II Builders Thread

I built 2 and I had a minor hiss problem in one of them that had the transformer in the same enclosure. A bit of a twist to the transformer fixed it up. I have also noticed that the tubes pick up a bit of noise from ground when I put the top cover on the case. The tubes sticking out of the case...

Click on the part number and the "bundle diameter range" is in the specs. Here's a copy paste of what I see. Part Number: 9284K315 $2.52 Each Type Expandable Mesh Expandable Mesh Type Standard Material Polyester Flame Retardant? No Construction Braided Inside Diameter 1/8" Wall...

1/16" ID (Internal Diameter) cable sleeve or heatshrink...

The nominal ID of the sleeving is 1/8". It will contract a bit to fit nice on a 1/16" cable when you pull it tight. Specs read for a 1/16" to 1/4" cable bundle, I think that will be the closest you'll find if not spot on.

Try McMaster Carr for expandable sleeving if you're in the states. It's about $2.50 for 10' of what you need. I can't direct link to the product so here's the McMaster link. McMaster-Carr And here's the part #. 9284K412 Or just search on sleeving to see their other options. They have...

What do you read for an input voltage? (From the input connector on the board) What's voltage at TL+/- and TB? [edit] Never mind, I lack reading comprehension skills. Looks like Runeight cleared it up.

Well, after listening to the amp for a couple days I’m finding it is very susceptible to noise. I haven’t checked with an o’scope yet but I must have quite a bit of noise on some of my outlets at home, hiss is quite bad at some outlets and better at others. I also found that without the top...

Yeah guys, the amp is working nice now. This is my first headphone amp and I don't have a decent set of headphones yet but, so far it makes my cheap (relatively) in ear plugs sound like I haven't heard them sound before. I can hopefully borrow a few sets of phones from friends in the next...

I found the bad trace on the board the other day but I still seem to be having a slight issue with the left channel. I'm getting a wild DC voltage swing at R10 from -5 to +5VDC. It does settle down and act nice when it warms up but, on rare occasion at power up it can take 2-3 minutes to...
