The Shenzhen Benjie BJ-T6 / AGPtek Rocker

Maybe. It's 5mm thick, the default battery (if my memory is correct) is 2mm. This one is on my bookmarks, haven't ordered it yet. It's not small enough but it claims to have 2000mah: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-7V-2000mAh-306070-Lithium-Polymer-Li-Po-Rechargeable-Battery-for-Arduino/202678652180

What I ended up doing was finding a battery with the same voltage but 3x as much power, removed the old one and soldered it in. It looks like crap and it's no longer portable (I have other players for that anyway) and it should work for a real long time. Unless this battery is faulty too.

I've had my player for about a year now. The battery life is terrible, about 2 hours before it's dead. If I leave the player alone for an extended period, the battery is dead. Recommend a Sansa e200 series over this one, batteries are easily replaceable and very cheap, lasts 8+ hours.

    Benjie Offical Thread

I've been having a lot of problems with mine. It has the latest rockbox and for the past month, it randomly doesn't turn on until I plug it into a charger. But as of today, it turned off in the middle of a song and bricked until I plugged it in again. Is there a button combination to reset it?

Good to see it's back online, the link was dead for months. And yes, terrible battery life. It drops to nothing after less than six hours.

I'm having something of a problem with rockbox. When I skip to another track in a folder I've played before, it starts the music at random intervals. One song will play 45 seconds into it, another will be 5 seconds at the end. Something to do with resuming, is there a setting I can change to fix it?

I assume you installed rockbox already, if you haven't go to my previous reply and grab the latest build then drop the .rockbox folder into your sd-card and select it on system boot. Themes will be .rockbox folder, just drop them in there then go to settings and change the theme.

Go here for some theme files: themes.rockbox.org/index.php?target=gogearsa9200 The best ones I found are Smooth2 and Winter Horizon.

I understand Rockbox is still in development/pre-alpha build but it works well so far and I've been keeping up with the daily builds. A few problems I've noticed with rockbox: The battery life is not very good, and it reports an inaccurate amount of power (typically 96-98% on a full charge). But...

Ruizu D10 - A Significant Upgrade From All Previous Models

So after playing with it for a while, there are some more bugs: 1. The directory/file names do not display the entire directory/file name. 2. A lot of problems with FLAC files, the ones of higher bitrate are not compatible. I dont know the specifics, sorry. 3. Zero customer support - The D10 is...

Ruizu D10 - A Significant Upgrade From All Previous Models

Side by side comparison of the Agptek Rocker with the Ruizu D10. The Agptek has better software, better sound, rockbox. But the D10 has more eye candy and higher display resolution. They both sound terrific, each has it's benefits and drawbacks.

Mine came today and had the same 1.08b error when upgrading, so I changed .upt to .iso, extracted with winrar, changed the build date and rebuilt it with imgburn (set to iso9660, NOT UDF or it will fail). Then I updated to 1.02 agptek firmware and wanted to upgrade to the latest "ROCKER...
