iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.

As op said, really nice customer service. Windows seems becoming easier to use when higher rates are involved. Tidal runing MQA seems better on pc than mac. I may change.

iFi Audio nano iDSD Black Label (TOUR details - PAGE 12 / TOUR participants - page 26 post #386)

My local distributor isn't that techy. Don't expect a retailer to be better. Some don't even know what mqa is. They can't explain. Sorry if offended retailer.

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics

I feel sorry for gavin fish because it now seems larry was the brains and gavin took the fall for the crowd funding. hard to stomach with so many people he is not trying every thing to deliver on the product but flying around the world to raise even more money by pushing new product on others...

i would get the X5 gen3 as transport for either the Black Label or the Mojo. try both and decide for yourself. i only look for adivice to go in which directoin and then make my own mind up. you should like both and the sonic qualities/flexibilites to suit you. these two are the two best of the...

LH Labs Geek Out v2 Discussion Thread

my friend had one of these and it messed up the frequency response. was unlistenable. like the other guy said, try the iem match. you would be hard pressed to hear a change in the freq response. the impedance level is really low like next to nothing at 1-3 ohms which is zilcb.

Was at the recent Shanghai Show a few weeks ago. Larry Ho was there marketing a new DAC. About $6k price point. I don't go to the US much, does Larry Ho go to any more USA show? i don't even see LH advertising anywhere like here on head fi. i might have missed with the new head fi web...

Only use feedback as a guide. Your ears are your ears and you buy with your dollars. There are other products people are in love with here that I bought and sold quite quickly. it is personal taste.

What the $^&# heck is it?.........iFi iEMatch!

I might be wrong but normal output say 2v is better so digital or vl pot can be used more open. If you have so much gain, you can't increase the vol pot and digital or non digital it is at the worst end of performance. Reading earlier pages digital vols cut the bits resolution. So able to go...

wow 3v RMS sure is a lot of output. that is one heck of a boosted output. you need to level match to compare with and without. chord cd players have 6v on balanced outs. always need to level match otherwise the loudest always most impressed.

ifI iCan Pro - Impressions & Discussion

Nice review. informative - I showed it to a few friends who are evaluating a few headamps. I have borrowed the Auralic and its sonic signature was too plain boring for me. And it cost more money.
