@Thorsten Loesch I have the new iFi NEO iDSD 2 and I replaced the 12v Power Supply that came with the DAC with the iFi iPower Elite Power Supply 12v. I think there was an improvement, or could it be a placebo effect?

iFi DACs that use the Burr-Brown chip have a similar sound. I have the Neo idsd and now the Neo idsd 2. Of all the DACs I've had from other brands, in my opinion, the ones from iFi are the best.

Today the IPower Elite Elite 12v 4A arrived. Already installed with NEO iDSD2. Now I want to forget about UPgrade and just listen to music.

I'm waiting for customs clearance to receive it. On the iFi NEO iDSD I use the Ifi ipurifier3, but from what I've read, this device doesn't need it. Is it better to use the Ifi ipurifier3 or not?

Is there any FW update for this DAC?

One question, does the remote control turn the NEO iDSD 2 on and off?

I have the NEO iDSD and I think it's an excellent DAC, but a little weak as a headphone amplifier. I bought the NEO iDSD 2 and am waiting for it to arrive. Let's see if the UP was worth it.
