Still use my BTR3K. All I want in this entry-level price segment is reasonable battery life and portability. The unnecessary power output and low battery life ruined the BTR15 in my opinion. You shouldn't try to cram in every feature possible in what's meant to be a comfortable tool.

Any info about a BTR3K successor?

Haven't had any issues with my unit. Just purchased it from Amazon (UK). Firmware is 1.22. What should I be on the lookout for? Volume suddenly dropping and going up again?

Does it have a standby function, or should I always switch it off when paired with a PC through USB?

Will the battery be constantly charging when connected to a pc? I would be using it 80% as a desktop amplifier for Iems, so it might be an issue.

I was missing the very first step: push the casing away from the plug, before unscrewing.

Is there any trick I'm missing to unscrew the 3.5 mm to try the 4.4?

Looking for an IEM with similar characteristics (bold, impactful sound with a wide soundstage and decent detail retrieval), but with comfort in mind. Right now the FH7s seem the best candidates. Any other ideas?

Kind of (only have Momentum 4 right now as far as Sennheier goes). I'll grab a pair from Amazon. A lighter FH9 is all I wanted and right now it was either this or the Xenns Top (which aren't readily available in UK).

I'm thinking about picking up these. I love the FH9s sound but they're just too heavy for long listening sessions... Would I feel like I made a downgrade moving to the FH7s?

Is there an option to completely disable ANC? It's what kept me away from these when they came out (have no use for it and I'm sensitive to air pressure).
