Quote: Large soundstage don't come with the Alessandro's until the Pro, and even then you'd want to perform the Ms-Pro Ultimate mod (using Spacers to use the GS1000 headpads). I'd be leaning towards the HD600, but that's because I haven't heard the HE-400...- Rarehunter

Can-con 2 (Sydney 2012) Meet Aug 18th 3:30 to 8:30pm (near Epping station)
If everything goes right and the stars align - I could bring the Coco Magnum V3's I just bought as well as the O2 + ODAC combo I just bought as well :) Don't put down as a yes though - it's still too early to tell for me... A bit OT: but if someone brings a mini XLR 4 Pin (with two...- Rarehunter

Humble Bundle + other indie bundles thread
Just reminding everyone that the current groupee bundle is ending in ~2 hours! So you better hurry! Syberia and Oddworld for ~$4 is more than worth it; everything else imo is a nice bonus :) - http://groupees.com/bemine3 The only sad thing for me is that Postal 2 is only on desura and not...- Rarehunter

High End iPhone IEMs
Make sure you use a LOD cable with the iphone - the headphone jack is horrible! Of course if you need the mic and volume controls you're forced to use the port :(- Rarehunter

Quote: Audio-Technica ATH-M50s is the best one easily. Lots of bass for you, and its ~$140USD @ amazon I think. So now you have some money left over to upgrade GPU (Pick a 7850), buy diablo 3 etc.- Rarehunter

I'd grab the d5000 ehile theyre still availale (check the deals thread) and then do some modding :) or actually, take apart the earcups and see if you just need to resolder the wire. Saves you money :) Otherwise the dt990 is probably your best bet .- Rarehunter

Quote: Bowl pads + anti-aging cream + padding for headband + different glasses frame. Problem solved, plus keeping those headphones. The bowls will probably improve your hearing experience (the anti-aging was a joke BTW, see how you spelled ears in the quote). Quote: ...- Rarehunter
