I personally didn't like the US at all. They sound even more muffled in the lower mids and compressed. The Boost pads sound more uneven than both but more musical and fun. I like the Boost myself.

Nope If you want an upgrade you should probably upgrade your DAC and Amps with the HD650 to take them to the next level. If you want an upgrade in micro detail, resolution, speed then maybe look into the HD800 but you will lose out on tone, balance and musicality.
