The meier audio daccord runs 2 WOLFSON WM8741 D/A converter-chip in dual-mono mode - cant go past it!

PC case gear had them alot cheaper but just checked and your looking at around $160 before shipping. Glad I jumped on the released price of just over $100... just wait they should come down in price.

I just bought the Heir 8.0 but wouldn't mind giving the Westone's a crack

I did have some problems with the customer service of my 5.0+ which I pointed out to them before purchasing the 8.0 in the latest sale and have received top notch service and a great sounding IEM.   To be honest without the sale I probably wouldnt have bought them, but all has worked out

I think there was a fallout, but that they are essentially making the same headphones from the same components, maybe some slight tweaks.   I think Heir is band from the forums but not sure why

Thanks for your feedback and positive review re the combination. Its always hard to decide on purchases without being able to audition them in person   I'm looking forward to receiving my cables even more now!

Just purchased the OCC Silver Litz cable for my Heir Audio 8.0. Was very impressed with the service and quick replies to my questions.... now to wait for them to arrive

I would update to the latest FW, I have found it more clearer with greater separation and impact. Well worth a shot, I haven't looked back since upgrading.
