Can you elaborate on the Trifecta + golden brick combo? The trifecta seems somewhat controversial with it's tuning... Some people praise it while others say it's bad. I'm mostly worried about potential bass bloat and sibilance. I do like the things I'm reading about the Trifecta having a lot...- Pschulniknof

Thanks, but I think I'm actually leaning more towards the Mentor. I'd say the Z1R already plenty satisfies my bass needs. I'm looking for something that's nicely balanced, while also more engaging and with better note weight than my Monarch MkII. I think the Mentor fits those preferences...- Pschulniknof

I'm sure that combo would sound nice. However, I would like to keep things more portable. Are there any other high end IEMS that would be driven sufficiently by just the golden brick alone? Fir Rn6 and Multiverse Mentor are also on my radar.- Pschulniknof

You can't be serious.. 😕 Strange, because some reviewers have noted that the Annihilator is certainly somewhat source picky and difficult to drive, but did mention the WM1ZM2 had a good synergy with it... Another source said that Elysian actually uses Sony daps exclusively (!) with their iems...- Pschulniknof

I assume the WM1ZM2 would suffice? Especially on high gain. I believe I've read from multiple different sources that this pairing should have a good synergy.- Pschulniknof

Does anyone know when the new Elysian Acoustic flagship will be announced/released? Kind of debating whether I should buy the Annihilator or just wait until the next flagship is out. The only thing that is keeping me from buying the Annihilator is the somewhat lackluster bass that people are...- Pschulniknof

SONY IER-Z1R
If anyone on here is looking for the best eartips to use with their Z1R, I highly recommend the Sony EP EX-11 tips. Easily the most comfortable eartips I've tried, while also balancing out the frequency response a bit. It slightly tames the bass, which also gives a bit more room for the...- Pschulniknof

Sony IER-M9 impressions thread
Funny, because I actually own the Mojo 2 myself and thought it was a great pairing with the M9. I liked it even better than with my wm1zm2. My friend however, has used my Mojo 2 a few times before and wasn't so impressed by the sound.. He's also not a big fan of the way EQ alters the sound (I...- Pschulniknof

Sony IER-M9 impressions thread
Does anyone know what's the best portable source to use with the IER-M9? A friend of mine wants to buy my M9, but he currently doesn't own any portable source that synergises well with it. He's potentionally contemplating on the Fiio M17. Preferably, he wants something that reinforces the...- Pschulniknof

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
High res is only for streaming right? I'm curious why you prefer to have it off. Unless you don't stream. In that case, does high res have better impact on battery life when turned off?- Pschulniknof

Can anyone tell me anything about the nozzle size on the Annihilator 2023? Is it similar to something like the Monarch MkII?- Pschulniknof

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
Hi, does anyone know in the headphones app how to change profile from a Sony iem to a non-Sony iem without having to delete all current Sony profiles? I want to switch from the ier z1r/ier m9 to my Monarch mk2, but I can't un-select a registered profile in the headphones app.- Pschulniknof
