Thanks Alex. I do catalogue my albums but using a simple Excell sheet divided by months. Like: May 2010, CD1, CD2, CD3, etc. June 2010, CD1, CD2, CD3, etc. This way I know when I received/bought a particular CD and therefore where it is located on my shelf :-). But I will check out the system...

Hey Alex, if we speak about physical length, they are about 100 discs and two rooms apart - I had to put my new CD shelf next to the bathroom as there was no more space for CD-shelves in my room. I have a strange CD storage system - I don't use alphabet to catalog discs, I just put the new one...
