    Review: Comply Tx-100 Foam Tips

Hi Jesserson, way to dig up an old thread haha. Actually I just started reading this review this morning and half way through realized it was my own writing. Anyway, in regards to top size you would likely want either the medium or large. I have a feeling both would work. With the Klipsch tips...

    Review: Comply Tx-100 Foam Tips

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to compare these to any other foam tips. My only references were the stock Klipsch ones, and the ones included with the Sennheiser CX300's; both of which are made of a rubber compound.   I agree with what you mentioned Spyro, now that i am used to these...

Looking to upgrade from Klipsch S4's in $150 range. DBA-02? DDM's?

I find it interesting that you had more sibilance with the Comply tips. I just got the Tx-100's for my S4's and I found they they slightly reduced the high frequencies. Could be the difference of the wax guard in the Tx's vs the T's. Who knows... Sorry this doesn't directly answer what you were...

Can't get good bass seal on Westone 3's

I just got a set of Comply Tx-100 tips that would be compatible with your Westones. I found them to stay very securely in my ears. Much better than the original rubber tips that came with my Klipsch S4's, yet still just as comfortable.   Worth a consideration anyhow.   Cheers, Josh

    Review: Comply Tx-100 Foam Tips

*UPDATE*   Following up on the review; I am enjoying these tips more and more. When I performed the original comparison I was listening at a lower volume level than I typically would. This was partially why it felt as if the music was veiled. Now listening at my more regular volume level the...

    Review: Comply Tx-100 Foam Tips

So here's a quick review of the Comply Tx-100 IEM tips I just received. I will write down my thought based on category.   ~Background Info~ I am testing these with a set of Klipsch Image S4 IEM's. And comparing them with the included tips that originally came with the buds. I am testing...

    Alternate to CX300s

Agreed basiltahan. I used mine for sleeping, because they are so comfortable and small. My CX300's just dies last week. (lost sound in one ear); but I have had them almost two years now, and use them probably an average of 3-4 hours daily. So i would consider that a good life span. Your...

    Alternate to CX300s

Although the EP630's are said to be so close to the Senn CX300's. I found that they sounded quite different. Its true that they look almost identical minus the logo difference, but the Creative's have a much larger increase in the higher frequencies. (around 4-12khz). It is to the point where i...

    Klipsch S4 experience

Second what wildfire070 posted. The Comply tips should be a good option for you. I just ordered a set of the Tx-100's yesterday. They should arrive shortly.   p.s. I realize this is a slightly old thread so this may not be relevant.

would a logitech z-2300 setup benefit from a cheap (>$80) soundcard?

I do think you'd hear a good difference with a sound card. I too have the Z2300 set and I could hear a difference switching from onboard to an oldish Creative Live sound card, and now a huge difference when I switched to an HT Omega Claro Halo XT. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. I hear the...

Getting the best out of my new sound card

Hey Sir Drex, I would be using the Analog out, mostly to a 2.1 speaker system. And I'm running Windows XP right now. Looking to try out Windows 7 soon hopefully. I see what your saying about getting the purest signal to the card w/o other processing from plugins or other software.

Getting the best out of my new sound card

Just to start off I'm new as a member on head-fi, but I've been a long time follower/reader in the forums. I have just placed an order on a HT Omaga Claro Halo XT. I would like to hear from some of you what you would would recommend for getting the best out of the card. Excluding upgrading...
