Why the heck is there a feedback switch on the MG-Head OTL?

New ASL MG Head OTL 12ax7 tube - should it glow? Change stock tubes?
Hello All, I received my new OTL and noticed that the center tube (12ax7) glows just a little and is warm to touch. The other 2 tubes really light up and are hot to touch. Is this normal? The 12ax7 is a ET Yugoslavian ECC-83 The larger tubes (in the 6B05 slots) have no writing on them...- phonejack
