Sub $200usd portable amp/amp+dac for macbook poo->250ohm DT770pro
As a follow up, I was able to snag a set of AKG N60NC wireless headphones for a REALLY good price. This gets me noise canceling, which will be good for the office and the plane while I am traveling. Thanks for the suggestions!!!- pheonix991

Sub $200usd portable amp/amp+dac for macbook poo->250ohm DT770pro
Hey all, it's been a minute since I've been here. I'm looking to power my 250ohm Beyer DT770pro headphones from my macbook while I travel and am away from my home setup. I've done some searching, and mostly finding portable amps targeted at IEMs. I assume this is mostly because of usb power...- pheonix991

Still on audigy zs2, building a millett max, bother upgrading to grub dac, or other dac?
Like the title says, I have an audigy zs2, I'm building a Millett Mini Max. I'm about to pull the trigger on the kit, and was wondering if I should get the grub dac while I'm at it, or keep the audigy, get something else, or wait till the new creative cards come out with their new sound...- pheonix991

Your first eargasm...
Probably when I was listening to my Radiohead on my A900's when I was 16. Just had one today when I got home from work. I left my brand new 325is's burning in, 8 hours total so far. Kids by MGMT has never sounded so good. This is using an Audigy ZS2 as a source also.- pheonix991

IsoTek Burn-In CD
Hate to revive an old thread, but, for headphones, are you guys using track 1, or 2 to burn in? I just got my grado 325is's, and while I'm at work, I'd like to start the burn in. -
ASIO+Foobar+Audigy zs2=having to reconfigure virtual devices after computer restart
Like the title says, I have to reconfigure the virtual devices everytime the computer restarts. Already had to mess with the registry to get it to use the 64bit driver so I can output at 96khz. So, anyone have a fix for this? I'd use KS, but, asio sounds better!- pheonix991

Amp for my A900's and soon to have DT770 Pro's?
I need an amp, I'm thinking something around $200-$275 for my A900's, and DT770pro's. The source will be a Creative Audigy ZS2 soundcard. I know I need to upgrade my source, but, that will come later.- pheonix991

Zen Xtra SQ vs. Current-Gen?
Okay, for an update. I got a Zune30. I must say, it sounds just ass good as the Xtra. I wouldn't say better, but, just as good. The color screen is great, I love how it is set up. The software sucks, but, I only use it to put music on. So, if I had to do it again, I'd get the zune again.- pheonix991
