Has anyone tried this with the Grado 325is? I'm currently using a Hifiman EF2A and the gain is too much for the grados. Contemplating picking up the M&M stack....

haha, yea, my dac is selected as the output. i dont think ill worry about it too much, everything still sounds fine. 

I've had exclusive mode enabled. This is weird. I just tried it on my pc and the windows volume wouldnt affect the actual volume. Seems like something is up with my laptop... Is there an obvious setting I'm missing in foobar to allow it exclusive access to my dac?   *edit: exclusive mode...

Hmm, i currently use wasapi (push) and can still adjust the volume out with the windows slider... I wonder if the wasapi component I downloaded for foobar is correct. I'll just mess with the preamp settings in foobar then to get the volume I want if loss is minimal.

I just received my first headphone amp yesterday after listening "ampless" for a while. I am pairing my Grado sr325is with the EF2A right now and the difference is pretty noticeable. It sounds much better than connected into a crappy sound card or an unpowered usb-dac. Details are so much more...

I took the risk and plugged it in lol. No sound came through but I don't think it damaged my headphones... hopefully. I don't think I hear any differences

I don't have the right speakers for this amp. My speakers only have the 3.5mm input plug and the amp doesn't have the input for that. I believe I do have a voltmeter somewhere, but knowing how to use it is way beyond me.

Hmm, one of the LEDs just went out. I'm still tempted to try my headphones on this amp... in case they still work.
