Mini to mini cables...any difference?
If there really isn't hardly much of a sound difference in the cheap mini-to-mini cable compared to the expensive ones, why do people pay huge amount of money to get barely any sound significance at all? You can't tell me that they will pay 20x the amount just for the bling? David -
Mini to mini cables...any difference?
Thank you for all the responses. I use the Archos more than the ipod so I'll save the money on something more useful. David -
Mini to mini cables...any difference?
Is there really any sound difference in the cables that cost $5 to the ones that cost $90? Will I tell a difference? David- pharmrodant

Help a fellow head-fi brother in choosing a new can...show me the cans!!!
Maybe the HD650 is not the way to go since I need a better quality amp. What do you think about the HFI-780 modded with the APS v3? or the DT880? Or I could just woody & recable my SR-325i. What about that idea? David (extremely aroused by post #3)- pharmrodant

Help a fellow head-fi brother in choosing a new can...show me the cans!!!
Hey Gents. I don't post a whole lot but I do read here quite a bit. I'm thinking about getting a new pair of cans. I was thinking about the ALO-780V for $450 but that's a little steep. I like to keep my budget around $350. I listen to a little rock, Ol' Blue Eyes, Jimmy Buffet and some...- pharmrodant

best headphones for under $500?
How about the Denon AH-D2000? Very good headphone and probably cost half of what you're willing so spend. Then you can take the rest of the money and get a portable amp. David- pharmrodant

Best closed headphone (no price limit) ?
falcon, Have you considered any IEMs? Or do you want to stick the a headphone? The IEMs will give you the best isolation. If you go with that, maybe think about the UE's or the LiveWires. If you want cans, what about noise cancelling cans? Maybe one of the best out there is the Senn PXC 450...- pharmrodant

Why aren't there separate inner ear headphones and regular headphones forums?

New portable amps from Meier Audio?!?
I ordered my 2Move. It should be here in the next week or two. BTW: has anyone had any luck removing the "comic" lettering on top of any of the amps? David- pharmrodant
