Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
I had the same problem. I have a Sandisk 512gb card that works fine and the 256gb Kingston SD card is fine to but the Kann does not see the Kingston. I'm using the kingston as a(n expensive) backup of my Sandisk files. Other people have observed the same problem.- PeterLBennett

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
Hi - my Kann does not switch the player off when the sleep timer expires. The screen turns off and the music stops but that's all. Set it for 30 mins last night and this morning the battery was down from 100% to 40% and the last played track was flashing on pause Anyone else had this experience?- PeterLBennett

I'd be interested in hearing about your experience with 512gb cards. My Kingston card is simply not seen by the Kann after formatting fat32 - whereas my Kingston 256gb sd card is absolutely fine. A&K have confirmed that 512gb in general should be OK - so I wonder what works for sure? Thanks!- PeterLBennett

Spotify App for Astell & Kern devices
Absolutely agree - I subscribe to Spotify just to try new music out and decide if I want it long term. I'd rather all my music stuff be focused on my DAP (Kann from last week) than have to find my phone for (in this case) Spotify!- PeterLBennett

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
Hi all - as a relative newbie to all the tech talk on here, can someone please explain in layman's terms what the balanced output option is all about. I only have headphones/ iem with 3.5mm jacks - is it worth buying some kind of adaptor to use them with balanced output or is the sound quality...- PeterLBennett

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
Thanks for your comment - I admit I'm not very technically minded but Surely a gigabyte is a gigabyte? If a card that is sold as a 256gb card and confirmed as having 256gb capacity by my PC is reported by the Kann as only having 232gb capacity it's reasonable to conclude the Kann is out of line?- PeterLBennett

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
That's very interesting and somewhat helpful to me but it doesn't seem like a full solution - I subsequently discovered that my whole "S" section was missing too - I do have a lot of subfolders under there but...very few under "A" which is also missing. Are you able to more specific about how...- PeterLBennett

Thanks - maybe my Kann is faulty. I inserted a 256gb SDcard (which only has 50mb space left) on which files are organised by Artist with all artists beginning with 'A' under top level folder A, followed by B, etc, etc. Kann reports a 232gb card and the A folder is missing. Same kind of thing...- PeterLBennett
