In general there is not going to be any background noise generated by any of the Audio-gd products. I have owned 3 amps from them, including the M19, and there is no noise.

Hard to say until you try it. And it depends on what effect you are looking for in this upgrade. It's going to sound better but perhaps a different upgrade would deliver more results. It's not going to be huge. But still likely worth it. I'm saying don't expect fireworks like what you might get...

I would say the change is not so apparent that it is easy and clear for anyone to recognize. With the clock in place there is an improvement that you can pick out, especially with separation and space between instruments and voices. Without A/Bing the differences you might have a hard time...

Hi Duong I have an older Audio-gd dac without clock input. Better quality i2s input makes a big difference in my setup and I pair up the DI20HE with an OCK 2 with great results. Love Vietnam, visit every year, haven't been to your city yet.

There are a couple good looking DI20HE for sale on Canuck Audio Mart. 2nd hand gear is hard to move January February. Not sure where you live though, these usually can ship Canada USA only.
