So I guess a pair of Audio-GD Master-2s would do something similar(at a slightly lower price though)?

When youve seen the internals of the one with the lower voltage youd not been happy if youd plunked down 5k.

Although I have no idea if this is true but Ive read somewhere that the Naim Headline2 paired with a Teddy Pardo PSU is supposed to be very good for the PS1000. I bought a Headline2 once to build a system for the PS1000 but sold it off in another deal, so never got to try the PS1000s....

Buy some DNM Reson wire and build it with the Neutrik Gold over copper XLR plugs, if youre not happy with the sound I will buy the wire from you, I used this wire with tje APL NWO-M player I had.
