Has anyone changed their E500 cable?
Is anybody else having trouble with the cable adjustment tube working itself loose?- pbrain

2nd gen Shuffle static noise
Just picked up an orange shuffle, and it's a bit of a mixed bag. The sound is awesome, but the noise is pretty noticeable with e500s. I was able to make it go away by attaching the shure volume attenuator set to low, but it strikes me as an unnecessarily complicated solution to a problem that...- pbrain

Any complains for e500pth?
Sound-wise, the e500s are just about perfect for my needs. However, the cable adjustment tube on mine does have a tendency to work itself loose, so if you plan to wear them behind your neck, you might want to take that into consideration.- pbrain

UE Super hi. fi vs UM2
No offense, but there really isn't much point going above $30 Sonys if you're using a bitrate that low. Try re-ripping to 192 or 256 kbps AAC, seeing as you're using a Nano. I usually go with 320, but then again I have a lot more space on my 20 gigger. In either case, I stand by the UM2.- pbrain

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Thread
I'm leaving for New York the day after tomorrow, so I doubt I'll be able to pick it up. Maybe they'll have copies at the airport. The last one took me about seven hours to finish, so I'm guessing about ten for this one.- pbrain

The attenuator that comes with the e4c
Just a thought... The iPod suffers a bass deficiency when used with low-impedance phones straight out of the headphone jack, right? Won't adding the attenuator increase the resistance and fix the problem? Again, it's just a random thought, and I've probably got it all wrong anyway.- pbrain

Poll: How Many Pieces of KFCs Can You Eat in One Go?
I'd have to say two. Two pieces of greasy, fried dead avian is the most I can eat before my mind starts wandering, and nausea starts to kick in. It is bits of dead chicken I'm eating, after all. But then again, I don't really like KFC all that much, so it doesn't matter to me. Now pizza, that's...- pbrain

e4c Review (ipod 4thgen and shuffle as source)
It took me about five minutes to get my e4s out of their plastic box. I ended up stabbing it with a knife, and I accidentally nicked the hard case the phones came with. But I still couldn't get it open. Imagine how irritated I was when the whole thing popped open after I stuck a screwdriver in...- pbrain

Nice pics! I can't say I've seen that particular type of packaging before. Is it as hard to open as the plastic e2c/e3c box?- pbrain
