This is a stunning post, so much effort going into, great stuff. Could I make a suggestion, it would be nice if you could include the Y-Split in the photo of the earphone, it is always interesting to see how manufacturers implement them.- oslpag

You must be one of the first people I have heard being open about being prejudice on testing something by name, if you get my drift. I follow another thread here on testing 3 different cable qualities without knowing which is which and it makes interesting reading and then when the results came...- oslpag

DIY earphone cable - best materials
Ok you cable gurus can anyone help. I about to start making a new cable for my earphones, I am ok with the connectors at both ends but I am unsure of the best material to use for the wiring and insulation, also where to find a Y-split. My requirements are not the normal audio quality...- oslpag
