I've heard L700 and sr-009 this weekend. Oh boy, what a treat. Once properly amped, they are both superb.

Unfortunately I can't really give you any better advice than the unpleasant one - if you have a dealer in your local area, go and try it out. Also, beware of listening music on loud volumes - if you or somebody else have SPL meter, you could measure the decibels coming through your headphones...

Based on your reply it seems that S7 is excellent amp, but some headphones might excel more with Jotunheim as with S7, so the pairing and acousting preferences matters. Did I get it correct?

Hi,   is there anybody who can compare the Aune S7 to Schiit Jotunheim?   I've had the chance to listen to S7 today and it was superb, so I wonder whether the Jotunheim can deliver the same level of performance.
