Difference between Grado sr125i's and Grado sr225i's

My understanding is (from as much as I've read about the Grado Prestige and Reference lines) that the 125, 325 and RS-1 are a little bit more dynamic and detailed, whilst the 225 and RS-2 are a little bit more laid back, with a better soundstage.

Difference between Grado sr125i's and Grado sr225i's

I only own 125 R, have them for 10 years already; all I can say is that they are a real joy to listen to. As I have no other headphones worth of comparison, I can compare the speakers and the rest of the audio systems I owned and own. The Nakamichi system, has a CD player and receiver that...

How to make a budget system sound like a zillion dollar one

Most receivers' internal DACs do not have a USB-port cleaner... perhaps...

Marantz CD6004 OR any given CD player + Bifrost DAC?

I am an audiophile for over 40 years.. owning multiple audio systems.. but at the moment they are all far away, as we moved to Southern California two years ago.. And i had only my Grado headphones to get some of my music from...

Marantz CD6004 OR any given CD player + Bifrost DAC?

Let's make a few  things clear: 1) Economically is not feasable to get a CD player and a DAC; an asynchronous DAC is mostly useful for streaming over USB ports; if you have a decent CD player you would not need an external DAC, as CD is a medium simple to decode for its own internal CD player...
