IYashike, I will reply you on PM, as we can discuss HD800 more. But on a quick reply, HD800 has great quality bass, quantity is just right for classical, but not sufficient if you are a basshead :) Bottom line is to test the combination for yourself :)- OneSec

Wow that's some chip-set discussion. I hope I have not interrupted anyone on this debate. Back on the HP recommendation... Quote: I second Pina.cz recommendation on HD800 if you are heavy classical listener on orchestra, chamber music, and less to vocal :p I used to be in the same...- OneSec

Can any one share information on the 2014 usb? Is that an upgrade? Just throwing a question - if I have a chance, should I get a separate usb box to connect to reference 10?- OneSec

Official Hong Kong Thread (Shops, Meets, Events and more-)
I'm in Ming kok anyways. I can manage canto and English. Just check out the retail price in a shop or 2, they are no longer as good bargain as couple years back.. Did not Negev though. Pha2 is shockingly expensive. I still go back to win win after comparing a couple shops for cd- OneSec

For headphone use Referance10.32 is already more than enough. Master 7 is nice, but is way over priced for headphone setup, and possibly consume too many desk space - an extra headphone amp is required, and that's another mix and match nightmare there. I will only consider Master 7 if I go...- OneSec

Audio-gd Master-5/6/8/9 balanced head amp/ preamp
Putting a class A 30 minutes idle is bad for mother earth :P And probably your wallet. I know a friend who rush to home from work everyday, and first thing he does is to turn on his AMP, before he fetches his kids from school... I guess next time when I turn my setup on Reference 10.32 on...- OneSec

I wonder if Sony UDA-1 will be a nice complement to Master 9 or their headphone amp. Right now I'm exploring the support for DSD...- OneSec

Sony's DSD-capable PHA-2 portable headphone amp/DAC
With XPA-2 and UDA-1, looks like Sony is really pushing the DSD hard. For the price is consider cheap. However DSD file format is still somewhat limited in availability. If I can find a DSD source for all my favorite music I might go for it. Without a portable DAC-AMP now XPA-2 looks so...- OneSec

2013 Head-Fi Holiday Gift Exchange
I'm puzzled too actually - I think everyone would have an Amazon / Ebay account (at least those that order frequent enough from Internet), and shipping to US should not an issue. Maybe - international Head-Fiers prefers someone local so its easier to establish the connection for future follow...- OneSec

I was referring to Foobar, by the way I have already found the place to configure file buffering. EDIT: Found, version 1.2 onwards, the Full file buffering has been moved to the advance-playback, rather than playback screen. Set to 204800kb, any single file should not exit 200mb.- OneSec

DIY Cable Questions and Comments Thread
Before you start you have to understand that this is very high risk - soldering cables directly to the coil is very risky, and any mod will void the warranty. The construction of each headphone is different, but generally opening up the headphone involves removing the pad (turning clock/anti...- OneSec
