I was just listening to Dangerous by Michael Jackson and i think this and pretty much every MJ song has really good drums section. Not sure about songs with other instruments though, need to think on that.- Omerg1

I like forward vocals, some would say it's unbalanced but it's the way i like my music, anyway i'm thinking now maybe to go back to oratory1990 eq but add a shelf to the mids and raise it by 4-5db- Omerg1

I have APOaqualizer and i tried oratory1990 and innerfidelity eq, i liked innerfidelity eq better so i'm using it. I probably should buy some tubes and maybe upgarde my DAC as well. currently i have stock tubes and Topping d10s. i'm thinking maybe to get R2R DAC. i'm considering Holo audio...- Omerg1

There's a thread for this amp but it's dead since 2009, and from what i understand there were several updates to this amp since then.- Omerg1

HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr (New $8000 Electrostat)
I think i made a mistake buying the sr-007 mk1 instead of es labs es-1 alpha or sr-009s i had good deal on both headphones but i went with the mk1 without taking into consideration it's power requirements. Now i'm stuck with a fine setup but i'll probably never be satisfied until i have the...- Omerg1

Also do you think the amp would pair well with Stax sr-007? I have currently CCS modded Stax srm-T1 amp form Mjolnir audio, i want to upgrade to the bhse but the price is just too much for me, so i'm considering the Shangri-La amp instead specifically for the sr-007- Omerg1

HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr (New $8000 Electrostat)
Hi, i'm curious if any of got a chance to compare the Shangri-La Jr amp to other electrostatic amplifiers, i'm mainly interested in a comparison with the bhse since they're both tube amplifiers.- Omerg1

Man i'd love to hear the x9000 on Eksonic T2. I'd pay money just to get an hour with that combo.- Omerg1

Can you link a thread where someone actually make some comparison?, has anyone ever try to use speaker amp with electrostats? I'd love to this myself but i'm kinda short on funds currently.- Omerg1

But what if we compare it to bhse (6500$) or kgsshv carbon (5500$) and for the sake of the argument the bhse is a tube amp so in this case instead of the ahb2 i'll go with willsenton r800i. The specific amps here are not the point. What I'm trying to say is what if i take a good cheap enough...- Omerg1

Regarding my previous comment about pairing them with benchmark ahb2 and ifi iesl I meant to quote that.- Omerg1

I wonder if i could reach to similar lvl of kgsshv if i'd pair them with a good speaker amp like benchmark ahb2, with something like ifi iesl instead of woo wee.- Omerg1
