I was told by Fiio customer support that tracking was a must. I'm going to check with the USPS to see how much they would charge.   Thanks for your reply,   Jeff

No I did not try that. When should I hold the power button for one minute? On start up or when the unit is already on?

Well,   I tried everything but I'm still having problems.   I tried downloading different versions of the Fiio X2 2nd software, plus I bought a new 16 gig Sandisk card.   Nothing is working. It still is going into an endless loop when it tries to update the software.   Fiio customer...

Nothing is working. I bought a new Sandisk 16 gig card today and the X3 still tries to load the software over and over.   This is getting frustrating. It's looking like I'll have to send it back to China for repair.   J.

Is the 4 gig not compatible? I guess I could try getting a 16 gig card and trying to upgrade the software but I am worried that it would do the same thing. Do you know why it keeps trying to reload the software over and over?   The wife isn't too keen on me buying a new one with the so so...

Thanks for the replies,   I have two micro cards. One is a 64 gig Sandisk Pixtor that I bought when the X3 was new. I've never had a problem with it, and I formatted it in the X3. It is formatted to ExFAT. When I try this card now I get the 'File system not support' message.   The other...

Another user suggested this thread to me, as I had just posted to another. I need some advice on what to do with my X3. This is a copy of the post that I submitted to the other thread:   ***********************************************************************   Greetings. I NEED SOME HELP...

    The Fiio X3 Thread.

Yes, I have. The only way I can turn off the X3 now is to hold in the factory reset with a paper clip and hold the power switch for at least 15 seconds. Otherwise it will not shut off.   Thanks for the advice. I don't understand why it's doing the things that it's doing. I really like the X3...

    The Fiio X3 Thread.

Greetings. I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE.   I just recently joined this website so I could look for some answers to this trouble that I've been experiencing.   I have had my Fiio X3 2nd Gen for about a year and a half now. Other than the scroll wheel getting so sloppy to be basically unusable...

This is a review I just posted to Amazon. I really like (liked) my X3 2nd Gen, but I don't know what to do about this problem. It won't let me access the card through the X3, and the only way i can shut it off is to hold in the power button and insert a paper clip into the recessed reset hole...

    Fiio X3 2nd Gen trouble

Greetings,   After a year and a half of using my Fiio X3 2nd Gen music player I am having some problems. I charged the unit this evening after work, using the same charger I've used all along; my wife's iPhone USB charger.   I plugged the X3 into my computer to load some new music and...
