Converting 5.1 Into 7.1, Which Speakers?
Well I went ahead and bought them since the specs for those speakers seem to match the specs for the 5.1 system. There's a good sale going on at Guitar Center right now.- oldbushie

what player do you guys use on your PC?
I've got the same setup. I used to use Media Player Classic for music for the longest time until I found out that it really wasn't suited for music, just video. I currently have about 10 playlist tabs open in foobar2000 for easy switching and Unified Remote on my Android phone. :) Quote...- oldbushie

Converting 5.1 Into 7.1, Which Speakers?
I'm trying to make sure I get the correct complementary speakers to turn my system into a 7.1 system. I already have a 7.1 AVR and plenty of extra cable so it's just a matter of plugging in two more speakers. If I have this: http://www.shopcerwinvega.com/detail/CER+CMX-51/CMX-51 This is what I...- oldbushie

How Can I Connect Pro Studio Speakers to a PC?
The Denon AV device that I got works like a charm! It has all the hookups I could ever need. Dad helped me put it together until 3am. I can't wait to test this at full volume. ;)- oldbushie

I know others have done it, but I recently bought a set of Cerwin Vega speakers (no cables or interfaces yet) on sale for Black Friday and I'm trying to find the best way to hook them up to my PC. I currently have a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio card that has optical input and optical...- oldbushie

Seeking Isolating Low-Impedance Circumaural Headphones
I decided to go for the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 after reading that thread some more. While they do isolate a bit less, their comfort is rated higher and I'd much rather have a pair of headphones that's not clamped on top of my ears during long listening sessions.- oldbushie

Seeking Isolating Low-Impedance Circumaural Headphones
I currently have the Sennheiser HD650 headphones and I love them. However, I would like to find a pair of headphones for on-the-go use that are circumaural (more comfortable to me), low impedance (<100, suitable for mp3 players and doesn't require a pre-amp), and isolating (so I can listen to...- oldbushie

Moon Audio Reviews
I received my cables very quickly and they are great; very lightweight and the sound quality is superb. Now I can listen to my mp3 player on the go without worrying about a 10 foot cord.- oldbushie
