ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF
After some reconsidering, I am thinking of getting the Atticus around march. Been thinking for a while which DAC/Amp combo would suit these best. My budget is loosely around 1.5k to 3k max. I have been reading myself into madness about the benefits of tubes over, non-tubes, balanced versus...- Oistein

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF
I listen mainly to hip hop, dubstep, rap, metal and other bass driven genres. Any suggestion which headphone would suit me the best? Really not looking for another bright headphone =)- Oistein

Sennheiser x Massdrop HD6XX Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Silly question. Can I get this with a normal cable and later swap it out with a balanced cable (XLR 4pin)? It said on Massdrop that this version of the 650's had a detachable cable.- Oistein

What's the best USB DAC $400 or less?
Yeah maybe. I can barely hear any difference with my M50x's switching from my PC to my Chord Mojo. However with my SE846 it is night and day. Personally I would go with something smaller for portable use like the monoprice usb dac which is basically the dragonfly red at half price...- Oistein

What's the best USB DAC $400 or less?
Not sure how much better the M40x's would sound with a DAC though. Seems a bit strange matching a 300$ DAC with 100$ headphones. Your mobile phone should be able to run the M40x's effortlessly. A good rule of thumb I heard (which does not work for all price ranges) is to split the cost of...- Oistein

Best way to connect PC to Dac?
Must be the Mojo itself. Just turning it on without plugging in the charger or USB connection I can still hear the hiss. Would love to hear if the ifi iematch worked =)- Oistein

Best way to connect PC to Dac?
Really not looking for an additional amp/dac to my Chord Mojo. More thinking about upgrading the USB cable if that would solve my noise issue. If the USB could solve the hiss I owuld be willing to spend upwards of 200$ on a proper fix. Otherwise I am looking for a new pc in the next 6...- Oistein
