I've noticed the Turbines are EXTREMELY sensitive to insertion depth. You could have a solid seal, but if they're too deep you'll lose clairty and the bass becomes muddy and just unpleasent, and to shallow they drop bass quickly. Try inserting them normally, then pull out just a 1/4mm then wait...
