Somehow I agree with you about bass, I tested them with IE600 and Focal Azurys, but the highs on M8 have more details and the whole picture is more pleasent on M8

Well, maybe I'm too late on this party, but I bought m8 few days ago and I really like this device. I owned Sony 1z before the m8 and I don't think that I lost something in audio quality, the same tonality, the same detail and even more, but with normal weight and more or less actual hardware...

These batteries are peice of s..it. Don't buy it. Just make a search about these "companies" and you'll see that they are just joke.

Not really, on DX240 with replaceable amps, it's pretty easy to change the battery, Ibasso just didn't advertise this feature.
