The above review already covered most of it, I thought I'd give more thoughts on the audio presentation as well as some comparisons. First the ergonomics are great, as good as mx500 shells, maybe better. The earbud is angled on the stem, and sort of "hooks" into your ear. Very secure fit for me. First off, the frequency response posted here was kindly provided by @Sam L , using the following methods: - software is Room EQ Wizard on a pc laptop - iec711 generic coupler is connected via USB soundcard (sb play 3) - sound card is calibrated - mic calibration file from factory is factored in the graph. - each side measured 7 times, threw out the high/low outliers and averaged. - the integrated graph is an average of each channel - most graphs on headfi are smoothed (1/6 to 1/12). - because the equipment is stable, my graphs are unsmoothed.
