You were right, after all. Thanks for the potential warning. Turns out that the "supposed" Bluetooth 5.0 distance rating is insanely optimistic. In real life, headphones are actually only usable up to 33 feet. The pool I workout in is 75 feet for each lap, so I'm completely out of luck. :(...

Am I missing something as far as your remark about possible distance issues? I just double checked, and Bluetooth 5 was rated for 800 feet?

Thanks also for that info, I had not realized that would eventually become an issue. The good news is that while the cans will occasionally catch some droplets of water from swimmers in lanes next to me, they will never be immersed in water as my head stays well above the water level in the pool...

Thanks for your thought, I appreciate the information. I do know that the Zygo phones that the other swimmer I talked was using, come with a transmitter that he sets at the end of his lane, and he has no problem from end to end in the pool using his phone as a player.

Well, given the complete lack of response, I'm apparently asking for something that doesn't exist. So much for that.

The manufacturer specifies 100wpc, per the reviews, ...............thats the difficult part if you want to go with tubes, that much power is limited to a very small segment of amps. JC
