I've tried two updates of 5.01 but doesn't work with the Teac hap50. I'ts no easy to downgrade to 4.4.2. My model is LTE GT-9005

With firmware 4.4.2 works perfect but whith 5.01 doesn't work, You must disable Automatic Updates in the config menu. If the phone have 5,0 preinstaled you can downgrade to a firmware downloaded for example in www.sammobile,com.

With the Streaming Extreme of Spotify I have very good quality.

It's important to have good headphones. In my case I notice very big difference pairing Senhheiser hd-560ov2 with Samsung Galaxy S4. Also with Senhheiser ie80 I notice improvement.

With Otg cable, is just the oposite: the phone charge the Dac . This isn't a problem of the Teac because with Iphone does't hapend. I my case I prefer this behavior because I use it plugued in Ac. The only solutión is the use of Y-cable and external battery.

I've downgrade to kitkat and now works perfect. I wouldn't install Lolihop until Samsung fix the problem.

I've just installed Android 5.0.1 in my Galaxy S4 and my Teac ha-p50 doesn’t work. With Kitkat has worked perfect during 2 month. Anybody have found a solution?

I've just installed Android 5 Lollipop and the Teac DAC  doesn't Work. I've verified the TEAC Web but there aren't new firmwares. My phone is Galaxy S4 i9505.    Any experience whith Lollipop and the TEAC?

I haven't a tube amp but with good amp also I've noticed that the treble are more controlled (cleaner and precise ) and the bass are deeper.
