SONY IER-Z1R
Years after Years IER-Z1R is still my favorite IEM with (M9) .. I tried and bought so many IEMs, but none can resist to an A/B comparison with Z1R (highs and ultra lows). I went the opposite way as you and prefer to use some larger tips very deeply inserted on the IER-F1R nozzles (with pushing...- newworld666

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Oups .. I was thinking about TWS because of comparing with ZX1-PNK which is a TWS .. Sorry for my mistake. Actually, though I use in planes the Technics A800 .. I prefer the ZX1-PNk too over any BT headphones for musical qualities.. for ANC efficiency modern BT headphones are far ahead.- newworld666

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I still own both .. and stopped using 1000XM5 ..as the ZX1-PNK : ->is a bit nearer to decent IEM sound quality than Sony.. -> the Battery playing time is far longer with ZX1-PNK too (by at least 2 hours more) -> Sony's LC3 codec doesn't increase playing time nore sound quality is not really...- newworld666

Look! MOONDROP's First HiFi Smartphone, MIAD01
In 2024 .. all DAPs are basically missing 5G for comfortable streaming providers access on the way or even to access our personal music streaming servers (Bubble Upnp) .. this smartphone is an interesting way to do this (with access through android 13 to powerampEQ or wavelet)... But .. it's...- newworld666

Comment by 'newworld666' in item 'Cayin N3Ultra'
I couldn't get the answer anywhere, but I am afraid that this device is build with some obsolete hardware with an obsolete android version which will make impossible : -> to use some UAC 2.0 feature (like headset command with the N3 ultra is set as DAC receiver) -> to use 1.5 Tb sandisk micro SD...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I think I own them already and tried without success.. I can't remember if I got them with the Zetian WU or Princess Changle I bought.. It seems, in my case, to be far better with Comply Foam though some flex are still present when I lay down. I think I will have to look with the different...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Unfortunately .. I understood that there are no real universal tips on the market, in my case, each type of IEM or TWS, I own and use, needs a specific ear tip, to get perfect seal, length, comfort, and the proper bore to get the best sound quality... and very often I need to add some serious...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I ordered them this morning just after your suggestion .. TRI Clarion Silicone Earphone Eartips 3 Pairs For Nozzle 4.5mm-5.5mm .. they should be in my house before 10 days. I want to know, as I like silicon tips usually.- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I didn't know that, so I will have a look .. Yes, maybe choosing the proper nozzles should be a way to fix this issue, though this afternoon I am using some Comply Foam which, which seems at least to avoid the flex issue while moving my jaw... which is a first reassuring good step. next step...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I will probably do .. Basically, I just wondered if it was only me or if other had it too and could find a way to avoid this issue.. I am just trying now some comply foam tips with a decent seal for me... and I will see how it goes. I really would like to keep a perfect seal to improve low...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I am getting a little bit upset with the drivers flex noise issue ... Do other Enigma AMT+ users suffer from this issue too ? I tried many tips, but when it's perfectly sealed in my ear canal, I couldn't find any that doesn't make any noise when I even just move my jaw a bit too much and it's...- newworld666

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
If some could try if this DAP has a fully UAC 2.0 compliant controller with an Active Front End (AFE) function for headset applications available when the DAP is set in DAC mode ? This mean that, when the N3Ultra is connected to a smartphone as USB-DAC, the hardware buttons of the N3Ultra should...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Yes even with some Parametric EQ adjustments for Enigma+, the IER-Z1R offers some more details in high frequencies, but the Enigma+ are still convincing and enjoyable even if the sound is a bit less spicy... so I would say something like they are more or less on par. Actually, after using...- newworld666

Cayin N3Ultra: an Entry-level Portable DAP that Delivers a Complete Vacuum Tube Audio Experience
It's pity if the N3Ultra can't manage to do it, but as I am just doing this with the Quloos MUB1, set as a USB DAC (BT is even deactivated).. the hardware buttons of the MUB1 are still active to control my Smartphone (Samsung Z Fold 5 android 14) at least with Qobuz, Bubble Upnp & Neutron.. I...- newworld666

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Though I don't really believe in burning time or cables impacts matters, I accepted to burn my Enigma AMT+ for 600 to 700 hours till now. For a few days now, I also use them every night for sleeping (with Soundcore Liberty 4 ear tips as they seal very well with my ears and are "ultra" soft so...- newworld666
