I've never had the beats on for more than 5 minutes so I can't really comment on that.... but the HD598's were rather comfortable for the extended times I've worn them when I previously owned them. The earcups are very large and accommodating.

Budget would be helpful as well....   I would have recommended the Schiit Bifrost but it fails the bright light test. My god, that LED shines like a flashlight at night... What's the purpose for this?!?!
