fibred core copper wire vs normal copper stranded wire: is there a difference?
in that case i'll be replacing the fibred wires inside the cans with ordinary copper wire.. i'm under the assumption that there wont be any quality loss though. ill probably have to hot glue the chassis so it wont wiggle around and possibly damage the solder connections. on another...- necorn

question about heatshrink tubing
does it keep shrinking and shrinking until it gets tight around the cable or is there a limit for each size? just wondering if i need to be specific in diameter size for my recable job. also, a normal hairdryer is fine for the shrinking right? the only stuff on ebay are like 20mm...- necorn

i thought of a very crude way... something along the lines of adding glue/hardener of some sort to the small ring needed to make the attachment piece.. adding pva glue to fabric, as i have experienced before, does indeed harden the fabric. however it may not be the best solution as it...- necorn
