HiBy RS6 Android DAP - Snapdragon 660, 4+64GB, 5” full HD, Darwin R2R, FIR, NOS, MQA 16x, copper chassis

Hi just a quick impression here: sound wise I don’t hear any difference but my impression is slightly more detail, but that could be placebo 😀. On features actually a mixed bag, you can now choose different skins but the custom skin Color’s. An issue I noticed is that the custom presets no...

Did Null Audio take my money and run?

Hi Bobo Fret, I had several good experiences with Null Audio and just called them yesterday to inquire about something and all seems in order and business as usual. So i reckon all will be fine.

No worries I know this is not trivial...for example for an album named "Greatest Hits", one by "Artist X" and one by "Artist Y", there is no way a sorting algorithm can determine from the standard raw metadata whether different "Greatest Hits" albums are genuinely supposed to be separate albums...

Thank and yes I have renamed these albums as you mentioned. However I wanted to let Andy/ Cayin Support know, since none of my other (and older) systems show this sorting behavior with Albums of the same name.

Hi Andy, Cayin Support, I noticed an issue with Albums from different artists, but with the same Album title. In this example the title is "The Ultimate Collection" by Sade, Shakatak and Whitney. As you can see in the pictures they are sorted under a single album by Sade...not sure if this has...

Mmm actually my n5iis drives my LCD2’s quite satisfactory on high gain and I am very pleased. It only looks silly...maybe I should get a smaller cable

my 2 cents: 1. Yes stands for low, medium and high gain. This is useful if you own different headphones with different impedance/ sensitivity. In general my experience is the higher the gain the higher the noise floor, so I always use the lowest possible gain. However some headphones may not be...

So non alpha numerical characters is not the issue so next is to test seanwee's hunch: Step 1: changed the album titles of the first 3 volumes from "Blank & Jones Present So80s (SoEighties) 01" to "Blank01 & Jones Present So80s (SoEighties)" Step 2: rescanned the memory card Result the first 3...

Hi Andy, As promised some more testing on the sorting issue or Problem 1 as you stated in you post. Now problem 2 is resolved I did the following: Step 1: renamed the Album titles of the first 3 volumes from "Blank & Jones Present So80s (SoEighties) 01" to "Blank Jones Present So80s SoEighties...

Thanks Andy, been troubleshooting this all day and just solved issue 2. As I mentioned in my earlier post I suspected an issue with hidden tags, ID3??? So what I did next was I checked the files again and found that these flac files indeed carried both the Vorbis and ID3 tag formats. I used...
