Travelling on plane..HD202 or 280?
Thanks all. I might just take teh 280's along....theyre big, but the isolation and sound quality should be worth it.- navman

Travelling on plane..HD202 or 280?
True. But for isolation is the 202 enough? Otherwise I may keep the buds that came with teh mp3 player for teh airport and take teh 280 for the actual flight.- navman

Non-oversampling non-digital filtered DAC.
Scott Nixon takes a while to reply. He's really good to work with. And the TubeDac sounds wonderful. I have two.- navman

Excellent amp. And if you want a nice warm sound go for the World Audio Design HD80. You can set up impedence to match whatever headphones you have.- navman

6SN7/12au7 Tube Recommendation
The EH 6SN7 are quite good. Nice balance and not as warm as vintage GTB's. Affordable at something like $15 a pop.- navman

Gilmore Lite
I just built my Gilmore Lite kit. Took a while to get all the parts, but was worth the wait. Very easy kit to build.I am not good at reviewing audio equipment so this is not a formal review. I used it with a slim Sony portable connected (digital out) to a Scott Nixon TubeDac kit. The...- navman
