Sorry to hear that.... I have yet to be disappointed by any of the Monks I have bought (at least 5 pair now)....I have more expensive on and over ear headphones but only travel with my Monks and Sony wx1000M3s..... :xf_cool:- navalgazer

consider the Monk VEs..... 10 bucks or so at AMZN and great sounding with excellent separation ....... I buy them 2 at a time and give them to friends using generic earbudS....great value for dollar- navalgazer
