Have you ever tried "Amelie" soundtrack? I think it would be very good for backgroud music and it does sound foreign (French composer, multi-instrumentalist) There is a discussion about movie/soundtrack here. In any case there will be a tracklist that you can hear some sample.

I sort of like both of them. (Patricia and Cassandra) Patricia's have plenty of night club feel or late night feel to her albums. Price is ridiculous. Sony USA site sell those for much less. Home Portable Total of $US 400 instead of $C900 ... Maybe it is better to go for portable player/recorder .. these 3 models available from your portable link are okay I think.... MZN505S, MZN707L, MZN707S

That should be interesting CD. If it is any interest to you .. David Rusell will be performing in Cleveland on April 25th, I will have to check that schedule again. I watched him perform last year which was quite amazing.
