    HiBy R8 II - HiBy's New High-End DAP

Do I understand correctly that if I didn't like the sound of the RS6 and I prefer iBasso sound philosophy, then the R8 II will not impress me with its sound?

DX260 Digital Audio Player, a New avenue to your music. Preorders have started. Easily replaceable battery. NEW Firmware Update! 2.02

Mango Player is the best among software players. For my taste, nothing better exists yet, and I would really like to see Mango Player available for download from the app store on another manufacturer's player. In short, it's a matter of taste.

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768

I respect the other point of view, but with this logic, you can also immediately advise a headless DAC / amplifier, because if you really need streaming, a high-quality screen and a fast chipset, then smartphones will be out of competition here. As you can see, it works both ways. :) P.S. Just...

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768

What made me love head-fi less was because there is less talk about sound. They discuss anything: screen, performance, firmware, build quality, cases, etc., but not the sound quality. It's like I'm on a smartphone fan forum. So, I'll try to remind everyone what we're all here for: how good does...

Question for DX240 owners: which amplifier has more dynamics / speed, AMP1 MK3 or AMP8 MK2?

DX320 ROHM dac chips, Android 11, AMP11MK2s. *******NEW FW: 2.07*******

Thank you very much for the information, which is not available everywhere, but for some people this is a very significant factor. You can listen at 34 volume and it will be too quiet for you, but at 35 it will be too loud. This is my case of using a player with 60 volume levels, my case of...

And this should comfort me as a consumer and potential buyer? 63 - this is not enough for precise volume control.

DX320 ROHM dac chips, Android 11, AMP11MK2s. *******NEW FW: 2.07*******

To be honest, I have never heard anything more strange in my life. I came into this hobby largely due to the fact that on Android smartphones there were about 16 volume segments in total, and I was very uncomfortable. The FiiO M3 Pro had 60 - better, but still uncomfortable. And only on the...

DX320 ROHM dac chips, Android 11, AMP11MK2s. *******NEW FW: 2.07*******

Is it true that on the DX320 the volume is limited to 63 segmentation instead of 100?

Do I understand correctly that it makes no sense to use a 3.5 mm output on players of this class?

DX320 ROHM dac chips, Android 11, AMP11MK2s. *******NEW FW: 2.07*******

It worries me that the stock amplifier has a 2.5 mm output, not 4.4. Although I do not have tight IEMs, so 3.5 mm will probably be enough.

Hello, I want to get a cold, neutral, dry, very technical sound with very good dynamics. Fast-fast bass. What would you recommend for these purposes, DX320 or DX240? Thanks.

    DX240 DAP. DAC ES9038PRO - NEW: AMP8MK2S .****** NEW Firmware! 2.01 *******

Hey, decided to go back to the iBasso camp for a neutral sound. :) One question: does it make sense to listen to the DX240 from output 3.5 on a stock amplifier (AMP1 MK3)? I don't want to deal with 2.5 output, but at the same time I don't want to lose sound quality. Thanks.
