Well - impatience got the better of me - removed sd card, did a factory reset, delete all data .... turns out the internal memory stays intact.... reboot, v 2.3 , all back to full functionality . Re-scanned sd card.. all's well :-) Does anyone have a suggestion what spare quality battery to...

Hi All This question might've been asked before (?) - I let the dx90 run out while listening to music, using FW 2.3 ... after charging it just shows 'Ready" on the display but is not going to the last song ... as well does not accept music from the sd card (it DOES show all the songs though...

Hi All - I DID manage to find a 2nd hand DX90 -- happy with it ... but no case ... does anyone have a silicon case floating around & for sale? I found the leather Tuff-Luv cases on ebay ... but they seem to make the dap very bulky.... any other suggestions?   Cheers

Yes, my screen turns on when I plug it in -- then asks if music&power or power only. If 'dead' I plug in (remains dead), give a few minutes and then use the pinhole 10sec reset while it's plugged in.  Regards

Hmmm - you suggest to keep X5 and just swap E12a for idsd to increase clarity? Would that be one way of ding it? In general though I'd prefer to upgrade the dap, not even use a amp(&dac) in the future as I never use headphones with the dap anyway (IEMs only). (Saying that - the E12a does add...
