The manual indicates the bnc connectors are phono inputs. The 5 pin DIN sockets are for inputs 2-6. I'd look for a cable like this. Link

Yes, go to Settings>Audio>Output selection and select LO. You'll then connect the DAC to the amp with a usb b male from the M11 Pro to whichever adapter is appropriate.

You're right, there are several more amps that stand with those mentioned, when considered with your qualification of different sound characteristics. One not yet mentioned would be DNA Stratus. And while I haven't heard them, highly recommended amps for the Utopia include Zana Deux and Chord Dave

I take one of those wood laundry pins with a spring and use a knife to sharpen the flat end. Not so sharp that it's too thin but enough that it will slide in between the case and the M11Pro. Then use it to pry the case away from the M11Pro. The wood works well so as not to damage anything.
