I'm not answering this question, I'm asking it. From best to worst, who typically gets you more for your money when talking dacs, amps, etc.?

So you do it by ear? It doesn't graph them or something? What about the whole "phone ear" thing? Isn't one ear inherently more sensitive than the other?

Thinking about a set of Grado SR125x. From what I've heard about them, I think I'd really like the sound signature. However, I noticed Grados don't have removable cables. I'm pretty darn rough on cables. Just how fragile are connectors? Is the fragility of cables and connectors overexagerrated...

Just listened to "It's all there" by Dwellings. I have to handpick their songs cuz they have a couple that are awful and gross spiritually, but the aforementioned is a good track. Would recommend.

Very warm and full sound to them. Good detail but doesn't exactly sound the most spacious. That's par for the course with IEMs tho. Bass is tight with still a good bit of weight to it.
