I think that SD card was used on an Android device (or another *nix OS such as Ubuntu). ;) @TheGiantHogweed: you should be able to delete those hidden folders from your PC.- MrScratch

@Luc33: I had a similar problem on fw 3.0 using a 64GB FAT-formatted Sandisk card. Switching back to fw 2.1 solved the problem but I really loved the new firmware. It used to freeze after a couple of songs (skipped or played didn't seem to matter at all) during the first few seconds of the...- MrScratch

Coming from an iPod Classic, I've never seen the HOLD button on FiiO products as an enemy... I think it's quite useful, I should say. I find it funny to see how many users are deceived by this stealthy and sadistic little switch.- MrScratch

Nope, the root/admin password isn't needed to restart the Finder. The command "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 0" has the purpose to show hidden files. Since system files are hidden by default and protected with admin rigths, a root password is required to show 'em... -

You need to restart the Finder too in order to see or hide immediately the hidden files. You can type in terminal: killall finder Or you can press Command, Option and Escape (cmd+alt+esc) and restart it from the system UI. -
