Has it been confirmed that there will not be a second generation of the HA-1? I find it very strange Oppo would just stop making such a well regarded DAC/amp especially when they are still making headphones.

Has anyone compared this amp to the Oppo HA-1?

I have been away from head-fi for awhile (my wallet has been extremely thankful) but I have alway wanted to try the Yammie if I can find one.  What are the main differences between the two?  I have the DT150 and they are not going anywhere!

I just received mine yesterday.  They sound fantastic! Good soundstage and excellent separation. Mucho details! Treble and mids very present but it does not get sibilant.  Bassheads will be disappointed but the bass is there once you get a good seal.  I am now curious how these compare to...

It is the KA-5500. It is a smaller unit with 55 w per channel but the headphone output sounds really good.

I see you are now a Pioneer man.  Although I really like the sound of this Kenwood nothing I have heard sounds better than the Pioneer SX980 I had for some time.  I haven't had anything with more that 80 watts per channel to compare however.  I would love to year the SX1980 or a TOTL Sansui amp...

I haven't listened to my DT 150's for awhile.  I am listening to them now paired with a vintage Kenwood amp I just purchased and they sound friggin' awesome.  I made the mistake of selling these in the past and had to get another pair.  I will never sell these again! 

I haven't posted on this thread forever but my Sanusi AU 5900 has been failing me so it was time to find another small amp for my desk.  I picked up a Kenwood KA 5500 today and so far she sounds great and I have power meters back in my life!!  It is my first Kenwood.        

Where are they available to be purchased in  other colours other than black-red?

Where are you gentlemen buying new pads for the Mikros?  Mine are falling apart now.

Just received a pair of these and I am loving them!  I am curious how they compare to the MSR7 as well.
